Founders: Till Wandler, Leonard Dorlöchter and Max Thake (EoT Labs) Product: peaq, a Layer-1 blockchain for DePIN and the machine economy. Berlin-based, enterprise-validated by Mastercard and Bosch, 60+ DePINs in production. milbo: conceived and built the entire Get Real engagement platform, greenfield and without the peaq team touching it, then handed it cleanly into their stack. Tech implementation, end to end.

The Ambition

milbo's founder had spent years in crypto, building as much as talking, which in that world is rare enough to get noticed. So when an old contact from the space reached out, it was not a cold start. They already knew we could build, not just post. A personal line to peaq's CPO and co-founder turned into four or five conversations, and it moved fast.

We closed it and pulled the team together on the spot, calling them one after another and telling them we were doing this. Experts walking into a room with experts, quickly past the small talk and into building something real together.

peaq was a serious Layer-1 with real enterprise validation behind it and a major campaign to fund. What it did not have was the platform to run that campaign on. The idea for it, in large part, came from us.

The Build

“Our biggest budget yet, almost no time, and a real team to assemble for it fast.”

peaq was putting a campaign worth a fortune behind DePIN adoption. The platform under it had to turn that money into real action, and it had to scale the second it went live.

So we built Get Real, greenfield, without the peaq team touching it. A gamified quest platform that rewards real-world action, connecting an EV charger, sharing bandwidth, measuring noise, contributing navigation data, with XP and reward tiers, a leaderboard, a referral system, and peaqonaut NFTs that evolve as you complete quests, plus a social layer with a Kaito Yapper leaderboard on top. Underneath it, a cloud-native backbone that does not flinch at a thousand users or a hundred thousand, smart-contract integration on peaq's own chain, and real-time event flows matching supply and demand as it happens.

This was not milbo's core few. The budget was large and it had to be spent right, so we assembled a team of eight around the problem and ran it as one. Built once, delivered whole, integrated into their stack without drama.

What Followed

Get Real shipped and held. 85,000 sign-ups in the first weeks, every one of them carried by the cloud-native backbone and the on-chain layer running on peaq's own chain. We built it greenfield, handed it cleanly into their stack, and it now sits inside a peaqosystem of more than 60 live DePINs.

We closed this one at two in the morning in Korea and ended up in a presidential suite in Paris for the token launch. Wild from the first call to the last, and it still shipped at the level it needed to. The shape of the problem, matching supply and demand across brands and communities with gamified, real-time, on-chain mechanics, sits under most platforms worth building. If that is yours, and you want a team that assembles around the problem and hands it back clean, the next step is a call.
